This piece was an end-of-year gift to my band director at the end of my senior year. I wanted to do something special that showed my gratitude so I took on the challenge of painting a portrait of him in his signature glittery suit jacket. Band was a huge part of my life in high school and I thought a gift from one artist to another would be cool. I was super proud of the result and it inspired me to continue doing portrait paintings of athletes, performers, and weddings!
