I made this piece based on my favorite song at the time, "Rotten Apple" by Alice in Chains. I liked the idea of making the canvas rot with the apple, and I think it even looks more rotted than the rotten apple itself. The frame was cut and destroyed by me to look rotted and burned. The canvas itself has holes in it and is ripped and torn by design. Bright red apple with a dark and tattered background.

Sealed with a gloss varnish.
